The players perform an end of match ceremony after an exhibition of Kemari by players at Shiramine Shrine on April 14, 2016 in Kyoto, Japan. The traditional game of Kemari is played in Heian Period dress in which the players form a circle and kick a mari, a deerskin ball, back and forth wearing leather shoes without letting it fall to the ground. The shrine is also home to the God Seidai Myojin who is popularly known as the god of sports, and especially soccer and the day is celebration of the Emperor Junnin who is buried at the shrine.
