CAPTION: Edwin van der Sar, The Manchester United goalkeeper who retired from international football for his country after Euro 2008, but came out of retirement twice to help The Netherlands during their recent qualification race because of injuries. Edwin van der Sar also received a Dutch royal order. Van der Sar, 39, was named Officer in the Order of Oranje-Nassau, a Dutch national order of chivalry.
