CAPTION: A Bernabeuhof street sign on the site of the former stadium of Ajax of Amsterdam, De Meer Stadion, in what is now a housing development. The road commemorates the 1969 European Cup Final AC Milan 4-1 Ajax held at Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, on May 28, 1969. The area is commemorated by having the new streets named after famous football stadia from around the world and artwork using materials from the old stadium by artists David Mach and Harald Vlugt. The motif uses real memorabilia from the old stadium.
