CAPTION: A mosaic on the site of the former stadium of Ajax of Amsterdam, De Meer Stadion, in what is now a housing development. The mosaic is in red and white commemorating the 1966-67 European Cup Second Round game Liverpool 2-2 Ajax held at Anfield - Ajax winning 7-3 on aggregate. The area is commemorated by having the new streets named after famous football stadia from around the world and artwork using materials from the old stadium by artists David Mach and Harald Vlugt. The motif uses real memorabilia from the old stadium.
